A two semi crash at I-94 at Oakwood northbound has shut down parts of the interstate. The crash happened about 11:35 a.m. on Friday.
Multiple agencies, including a hazmat team, worked to clean up the crash, but the mess was far from over. Backups on the interstate extended for miles as law enforcement diverted traffic off of the interstate at County G.

Megan Dorsey was on her way to Milwaukee to meet some friends for dinner. She was sitting in traffic for two hours.

"Google Maps just keeps on adding time," said Megan.

To pass the time, Megan had to get creative playing games with her friends.

"We have been playing I Spy," said Megan.

For Shilpa Jhovalia and her family, they also tried to find ways to entertain themselves and their two little toddlers.

"It's stressful, especially with two little ones and the moving truck," said Shilpa.

They are moving from Illinois to Michigan and hope there are no more detours on their trip.

Part of the interstate is expected to be closed until midnight.

Highway G On-Ramp and 7-mile road On-Ramp to go northbound on I 94 are closed.

Expect traffic delays. MCSO suggests motorists use the following alternate routes:
• Highway 45 (West of I 94)
• Exit at Highway G, go west to 27th Street (Frontage Road) northbound to Ryan Road, eastbound
to I 94
One semi driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
