After 32 years at the Summerfest grounds, the Indian Summer Festival is changing locations.
The popular festival held the weekend after Labor Day will be spread throughout the Milwaukee metro area.
In a news release, the Board of Directors expressed that as a non-profit, all-volunteer organization "it has become increasingly difficult to meet expenses associated with producing a large festival."
“We have been embraced by Milwaukee and its surrounding communities with respect and support. For this we are forever thankful," said John Warren, president of Indian Summer Festival Inc.
