Road rage shooting injures two Adults, 1-Year-Old child in Milwaukee

Two drivers exchanged gunfire Saturday morning, injuring themselves and a 1-year-old passenger. Both are now in custody.

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Police are investigating a road rage incident Saturday morning that left two adults and a 1-year-old child injured on the city's northwest side.

The shooting occurred at approximately 10 a.m. on the near Sherman Blvd and Capitol Dr. According to police, gunfire was exchanged between two drivers during the incident.

Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

A 1-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles was also injured and transported to a local hospital. That child's injuries are also considered non-life-threatening.

Both drivers are in custody. Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
