OAK CREEK, Wis. — Southbound lanes on I-41 at Ryan Road in Oak Creek have reopened after a serious crash shut down all lanes Thursday morning.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office tweetedthat a preliminary investigation suggests a driver struck the median barrier and swerved across several lanes of traffic, before rolling down an embankment.
The force of the impact ejected the driver, causing serious injuries.
The driver is now being treated in the hospital.
