Suspect arrested in tactical incident near 70th and Main

A suspect has been taken into custody after a tactical situation near 70th and Main.

Police say Cadillac L. Williams, 31, was wanted on felony charges He surrendered early Wednesday morning after a domestic violence call in Beloit led to the tactical situation in Milwaukee.

Williams was arrested for 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety-domestic violence, disorderly conduct-domestic violence, battery-domestic violence, strangulation and suffocation and felon in possession of a firearm. He was also arrested on a warrant issued by the Department of Corrections prior to this domestic violence incident.

No one was injured in this incident.

Milwaukee police responded to the scene, as well as the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office and the State Patrol.

Milwaukee police are in charge of the investigation, according to our crew on the scene.

Police say traffic will open back up as soon as possible.
