Harvest Fair ushers in fall this weekend

WEST ALLIS — Harvest Fair returns this weekend at Wisconsin State Fair Park.

Admission is free. Harvest Fair features free live entertainment.

On Friday, hours are from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. On Saturday, the event is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. On Sunday, hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Harvest Fair is on the south side of the Fair Park, including Central Mall and Central Park, as well as the Harvest Café (Original Cream Puff Pavilion), and The Back 40 (west of the Original Cream Puff Pavilion).

Headliners at the Associated Bank Amphitheater include Too White Crew at 8:00 p.m. Friday, Rebel Grace at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 5 Card Studs at 2:00 p.m. Sunday.

Many Harvest Fair favorite activities are back, including pumpkin bowling, Make Your Own Scarecrow, cookie decorating, amusement rides and pony rides.

Activities require the purchase of credits that will be loaded onto a card. Credits can be purchased at Ride & Activity Credit Booths located throughout Harvest Fair.

Credits cost $1 each, and the number of credits required per activity is posted at each location. Credits can be used Friday through Sunday.

There is plenty of Free Family Fun including Tiny Tot Acres and cornhole bean bag toss. The giant slide will be open, too.

ThePaul Bunyan Lumberjack Show will feature log rolling, wood chopping, ax throwing and crosscut sawing.

Many State Fair food and beverage vendors will be open during Harvest Fair.

Families can enjoy theAll-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast until 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The breakfast benefits the West Allis Lions Club. Prices are $8 for ages 13 and older and $5 for ages 6-12. Children 5 and under are free with the purchase of a 13-and-older breakfast.
