MILWAUKEE -- A 3-year-old is in critical condition after being hit by a car on Milwaukee's south side.
Milwaukee police were called to the area of 13th & Lincoln just before 7:30 p.m.
Police say the car was traveling South on 13th Street when it hit the child who ran out into the road.
A good Samaritan who witnessed the accident brought the 3-year-old to a local hospital.
The driver of the car remained on the scene and was released after the investigation.
