GREEN BAY — Former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike Holmgren has officially thrown is support to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
The Biden campaign says the Super Bowl-winning coach will hold a virtual press conference to publically support Biden on Sept. 12. Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich will join him at the conference.
The conference kicks off at 12 p.m.
According to the campaign: "Overall, the Packers contribute more than $160 million per year to Green Bay's economy. As a result of Trump’s failure to respond to the coronavirus pandemic, the scaled-down Packers season is devastating to many Green Bay-area businesses."
