MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Bucks are looking to fill more than 130 part-time jobs at Fiserv Forum.

A job fair was held at the arena Friday morning. Hundreds of people showed up to apply for jobs in guest services, security, retail, ticket sales and technology support.

Hourly wages start at $13. That starting pay, well above minimum wage, isn't the only draw. Many who attended the job fair said they would love to work for the venue, which hosts Bucks and Marquette University basketball games, as well as many concerts. It's also the site of the 2020 Democratic National Convention.

"It makes me really happy to see all the people here." — Tracy Baskin, who interviewed candidates at the job fair

"Thirteen dollars an hour is awesome because most jobs that I've worked pay between $7.50 and $9 per hour," said Marquise Crosby, who attended the job fair with the hope of being hired. "You can better provide for your family with that kind of pay. It also just seems like a great atmosphere to work in."

"It makes me really happy to see all the people here," said Tracy Baskin, who already works for the Bucks and was interviewing candidates Friday. "It's good to see that people who are unemployed can get jobs here and have an impact on what's going on around here. It's a very good opportunity for people to grow within the organization."
