WISCONSIN — Festival and Kellogg's have teamed up to raise money for Wisconsin food pantries, and they have raised $20,000.

Kellogg's said for every Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes® product purchased in November, they would donate $1, up to $10,000, to Festival Foods’ Food for Neighbors program.

Festival Foods then agreed to match all of those donations up to $10,000.

Because Kellogg's sold more than 13,000 boxes of Frosted Flakes this November, the company was able to make a $10,000 donation to Festival, which Festival then matched, bringing the total to $20,000 for Wisconsin food pantries.

“We share Festival Foods’ commitment to ensuring families are fed and fulfilled,” said Stephanie Slingerland, Senior Director, Philanthropy/Social Impact with Kellogg Company. “We’re pleased that as a result of this partnership, more people will have access to meals this holiday season.”

The money will go to 40 different food pantries that are apart of Festival's Food for Neighbors program. 100 percent of the funds stay within the communities in which they were collected, Festival Food's said in a press release Friday.
