"In alignment with the grocery industry, we will require masks to be worn by guests who can the week of Monday, July 20, with an effective date of Friday, July 24," the grocery chain said in a statement on its website.
Those who don’t have masks will be able to purchase them at the store's Guest Services desk.
Festival Foods also says it will allow customers to bring in reusable bags, but those customers who bring reusable bags will have to bag their groceries themselves.
This announcement comes as several of America's largest retailers have announced that they will begin requiring all customers to wear masks or face coverings when entering their stores.
