FBI asks for public's help in finding 'gang-related fugitives' tied to drug operation

MILWAUKEE — The FBI Milwaukee Division is asking for the public's help in finding six suspects tied to an drug-trafficking operation.

The FBI operation happened in Milwaukee on Tuesday morning and led the charging of 24 suspects connected to an alleged drug trafficking operation known as the "Buffum Meinecke Boys." 17 of the 24 suspects were arrested on Tueday.

The FBI is searching for six suspects who were a part of the 24 charged. The suspects are Courey Agee, 33; Maureno Briggs, 29, Tyrone Bryant, 28; Luis Lorenzo, 34; Jasmaine Linton, 38; and Michael Smith, 37.

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous, the FBI said.

Several law enforcement agencies participated in the federal operation that focused in and around the Harambee neighborhood of Milwaukee. During the operation, drugs such as heroin, cocaine and marijuana were seized. Almost $300,000 in cash was also seized, as well as over 50 firearms.
