MILWAUKEE, WI — A family is still pushing for answers months after a deadly officer-involved shooting in Wauwatosa.
Alvin Cole, 17, was shot and killed by Wauwatosa Police officer Joseph Mensah, according to police.
Cole's family hope's justice comes soon as they await District Attorney John Chisholm's decision whether or not to file charges.
“He should’ve never had a chance to kill again," said Cole's sister Taleavia Cole.
Mensah remains on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation. He was also the officer at the focal point of two other deadly officer-involved shootings in the past five years.
The family hopes new witness statements and video shows the DA Cole was unarmed.
