MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers ordered flags at half staff in honor of a Capitol police officer who died during Pro-Trump riots in Washington, D.C., and another who committed suicide in its aftermath.

All flags are to be raised at half staff beginning immediately and ending at sunset on Jan. 13.

Capitol police officer Brian D. Sicknick died from injuries sustained in last Wednesday's riot. Officer Howard Liebengood died by suicide, his family announced over the weekend.

Four other people inside the U.S. Capitol died during the riots, Among them was one person who was shot by a Capitol police officer, and three others who died from unspecified medical conditions.
