GREENFIELD-- A 19-year-old man was arrested after leading police on an eventful chase that ended when he crashed into a parked vehicle.

An officer with the Greenfield Police Department discovered a stolen vehicle traveling in the 4700 block of S. 27th Street about 12:44 a.m. Tuesday. The officer attempted to stop the car when it fled northbound on 27th street, according to police.

After attempting a "PIT Maneuver," three passengers fled on foot from the vehicle. Police said that the driver continued his reckless behavior, attempting to flee in the stolen vehicle by ramming an occupied, fully-marked Greenfield Police Department squad car.

No one was injured during the incident. Charges are expected to be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office in the coming days.
