A driver nearly hit a child who was exiting a school bus in Dane County Thursday.
A video shows the child getting off of the school bus, checking a mailbox and as he started to cross an SUV sped past him in the left lane.
The bus was stopped and had lights flashing at the time of the near miss. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
It is against the law to pass a stopped school bus and a ticket for doing so could cost up to $300.
