MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee residents who park overnight on city streets must move their vehicles to the odd-numbered side of the street from 11 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday while the DPW continues its snow-clearing operation.

This helps ensure that DPW crews can access as much of the street pavement as possible to clear ice and snow safely.

Posted street signs take precedence in all city areas.

Not all winter parking rules are posted, so residents should check for parking restrictions at milwaukee.gov/winterregs.

Residents also can call 414-286-CITY (-2489).

Parked vehicles should not impede the flow of traffic in the travel lane. This includes the streetcar route and other city roadways.
