DNR asks for community help after possible cougar sighting at Devil's Lake

BARABOO, Wis. -- The Department of Natural Resources is asking residents and visitors of Baraboo, Wis. to fill out a form to help track down a possible cougar seen over the weekend, according to our sister station WISC-TV.

The DNR received numerous reports of a cougar sighting in a campground at Devil's Lake State Park according to Scott Walter, DNR large carnivore specialist.

The sightings have not yet been confirmed.

Walter urges people in the park and surrounding areas to be on the lookout. He says anyone who thinks they see a cougar or large mammal should fill out the DNR's online form.
