Former Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin Matt Flynn is running for the Democratic nomination for governor. 

Flynn is a Navy Veteran and retired Milwaukee attorney. He was a partner in the Milwaukee law firm Quarles & Brady.

Political Background: Flynn was elected Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin in 1981. He held that position until 1985. He unsuccessfully ran for U.S. Senate in 1986 and 1988 and for the U.S. House of Representatives in 1978 and 2004.
