Current State Senator Kathleen Vinehout is running for the Democratic nomination for governor.
Vinehout has been a member of the State Senate since 2006. Before entering into politics she became a dairy farmer and was a program director at the University of Illinois at Springfield and the Visiting Nurses Association in St. Louis.
