If you are looking to hunt black bears and wild turkeys for the 2021 season, the deadline is only a week away.
The Wisconsin DNR is reminding hunters they must apply before midnight on Dec. 10. You can purchase applications for permit drawings here.
Preliminary estimates show that hunters killed more than 4,100 bears in 2020. The DNR and the Bear Advisory Committee are determining 2021 harvest quotas.
