Muskegon, Michigan, had a new visitor when a Milwaukee construction barrel washed ashore.
According to a Muskegon Government Facebook post, a Milwaukee construction barrel washed ashore at Pere Marquette on Tuesday. Since then, the city has welcomed “Darrel the Barrel” with open arms.
The Facebook post asked local community members for recommendations on where the barrel should visit. On Wednesday, Oct. 9, pictures show “Darrel the Barrel” in all his glory, visiting downtown Muskegon, local landmarks and city artwork.
“Darrel the barrel may not be beautiful himself, but he does enjoy looking at lovely artwork,” a Facebook post reads.
Darrel apparently is not missing his sisters.
