Community members gifted the Oak Creek Police Department with sub sandwiches, cookies and candy Saturday morning in recognition of the work the officers do every day.
The treats came accompanied with a letter that read, in part:
"Dear Officer, I want you to know that I see you...I see that you are a human being who has a heart that beats for your calling to serve and protect. I see your cause and I want you to know that I appreciate it."
