Help ID authors of shotgun shell 'BANG' message

Posted

MILWAUKEE -- Sheriff's deputies are hoping newly-released photos will help them identify the people who spelled out "BANG" with discarded shotgun shells and clay pigeons between the Milwaukee Art Museum and the Betty Brinn's Children Museum last weekend.

Three people were involved, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, though only two are visible in the photos above.

A witness on the scene took the photos on their phone. Although taken from the back, sheriff's deputies think someone could identify them based on their clothing.

All of the shells were determined to be inert, and deputies bagged up them up and cleared the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call Milwaukee County Communications at 414-278-4788.
