WEST ALLIS, Wis — It was another successful year for Candy Cane Lane in West Allis.
The light show raised $113,522 for the MACC Fund's fight against childhood cancer.
It all started in 1984, when a group of neighbors worked together to decorate their homes neighborhood for the holidays. They collected donations from visitors who drove through, and donated all the proceeds to the MACC Fund for research, treatment, and the eventual discovery of a cure for childhood cancer.
Since then it has raised $2,997,000.
