Many celebrities and athletes have taken to social media following the shooting of several cops, and death of five, in Dallas on Thursday.
Here in Milwaukee, Bucks forward Jabari Parker is defending President Barack Obama after former Illinois Congressman Joe Walsh tweeted what some may see as a threat.
On July 7, Walsh -- now a radio talk show host -- tweeted, "3 Dallas Cops killed, 7 wounded. This is now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out black lives matter punks. Real America is coming after you."
It has since been deleted.
Parker responded saying:
@WalshFreedom You ain't landing a single finger on @BarackObama. No body is. Chicago and myself going to make sure of that.

Walsh responded the onslaught of criticism saying:
I wasn't calling for violence, against Obama or anyone. Obama's words & BLM's deeds have gotten cops killed. Time for us to defend our cops.

Parker followed saying he is a man of God and has faith in peace.
Im not a man of violence. I'm a man of God. I have faith that peace will happen. We have to take the higher road and allow God's will.

Parker has been very active on social media following the police shootings this week, even questioning his own safety.
I know all police officers aren't bad but personally I just don't feel safe anymore. All our tax dollars go to them just to kill us! Why?
