Brookfield police search for suspect involved in two retail thefts

BROOKFIELD — The Brookfield Police Department is searching for the suspect involved in two retail thefts at Piggly Wiggly.

According to police, in both instances, the suspect took various bottles of alcohol along with other merchandise, placed it in plastic bags and left without paying.

Witnesses describe the suspect as 5'9" and 200 pounds. He's in his mid-30s with short black hair.

During the time of the first theft, the suspect was wearing a postal worker jacket, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and designer jeans. During the second theft, he was wearing a gray sweatshirt and designer jeans.
