MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Some young boys playing in a Milwaukee park made a gruesome discovery over the weekend.
A couple boys wandered away from a group of their friends at the basketball courts to a creek in Meaux Park Sunday where they found a partially decomposed body in the water. The boys called police and their parents.
Tawanna Gant tells WITI-TV she's worried her 13-year-old son will have nightmares because of what he saw. A recovery team and the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner were called to the scene.
Sheriff's deputies are investigating.
