BELLEVUE -- A woman's body was found in a farm field in Brown County this past weekend.
Capt. David Poteat says the death is being investigated as a homicide.
The body was found about 2 p.m. Saturday in Bellevue.
Technicians from the State Crime Lab helped gather evidence. Roads around the field were reopened Sunday afternoon.
The cause of death and the woman's identity has not been released.
