MILWAUKEE — The Bayshore shopping center is evolving, and the latest changes are designed to make a variety of spaces more engaging.

In partnership with Artist Uprising, Bayshore is putting together a new immersive art experience featuring more than 30 works of art from local artists.

Curated by local artist, Emma Daisy, the project will showcase the works of muralists, fine artists, sculptors, fabricators, illustrators, and animators. The first phase of murals was just completed. You can see the new art in places like a breezeway, a road-facing retaining wall, and a wall in the parking garage.

“We have such a vibrant local artist community right here in the Milwaukee area and it has been amazing to see that community work together,” said Daisy in a Bayshore press release. “Art has a powerful way of bringing people together and as the reimagined Bayshore comes to life, art remains a core staple in the process.”

Shoppers will see other works pop up throughout the year.
