KAUKAUNA, Wis. -- A bald eagle was rescued by the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary in Outagamie County Tuesday night.
The Kaukauna Police Department shared a picture of the protected bird on its Facebook page.
Police say the eagle was found in La Follette Park at around 11:30 a.m. and appeared to be sick because it hadn't moved for several hours.
The eagle was taken away around 9 p.m.
Kaukauna is around 100 miles north of Milwaukee.
