The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will begin a rehabilitation project of 10 park and ride lots around southeastern Wisconsin, four of which will begin May 8.
During this construction projects, local park and rides may have limited parking capacity or may be completely closed.
Listed below are the park and ride construction projects scheduled to begin in May:
MILWAUKEE COUNTY:

I-94 AND S. 76TH STREET (STATE FAIR PARK AND RIDE)

Project date: May 8 to early June
- Impact: Lot will be fully closed.
- Upgrades: Sewer and electrical upgrades, pavement replacement.

An adjacent lot to the west is available. The bus stop on Kearney St. to be temporarily located on the southwest corner of Main St./Adler St. and S. 76th St.

Project date: May 8 to early June

I-43 AND WIS 100 (BROWN DEER ROAD)
- Project date: May 15 to early June
- Impact: Approximately 1/3 of the stalls will be closed.
- Upgrades: Electrical upgrades, pavement and signage replacement, pavement marking
WAUKESHA COUNTY:

I-94 TO COUNTY F
- Project date: May 8 to early June
- Impact: Initially, approximately 1/2 of stalls will be closed. Around late May, the lot will be fully closed.
- Upgrades: Signage replacement, pavement marking, new fencing

- Project date: May 22 to mid-June
- Impact: Approximately, 1/2 of the stalls will be closed.
- Upgrades: Signage replacement, pavement marking
