Alleged Racine drug dealer charged after selling near a school

Posted

The Racine County Metro Drug Unit arrested an alleged drug dealer Tuesday after a four-month investigation.

Ricky Williams is charged with six counts of delivering narcotics within 1,000 feet of a school, along with other drug and gun charges. The house was near Jefferson Elementary School.

The unit searched Williams house after four months of controlled drug buys. Authorities determined Williams was selling drugs prescribed to him.

Inside the house, law enforcement found marijuana, paraphernalia, a loaded handgun and a shotgun with ammo.

Three young children were in the house, and the Racine County Human Services Department responded and took the children under the drug endangered children protocol.
