In the wake of the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission's decision to demote former police chief Alfonso Morales, he's considering all of his options right now, his attorney told WTMJ 620 radio.
"Last night, a dysfunctional group of human beings exercised their will and not their judgment in the action that they took to demote Al Morales from chief to captain," Franklyn Gimbel told the station.
The FPC voted todemote Moralesat a Thursday meeting. Assistant Chief Michael Brunson is was sworn in as chief Friday morning.
Supporters of Morales have offered to fund a legal challenge against the city, if Morales goes that route.
