The South 35th St. Bridge over the Kinnickinnic River will close 9 a.m. Monday.
It will be closed in both directions to pour concrete and make other updates.
The project will be complete on or before June 24.
At times during construction work, one lane of traffic will be allowed in both directions.
The Milwaukee Department of Public Works recommends motorists use South 27th St. or West Forest Home Ave.
Local access will be maintained to West Kinnickinnic River Parkway and West Manitoba St.
