Abducted 13-year-old boy returned to family safely, police say

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Police are investigating a possible abduction that occurred on Oct. 12 at around 10:00 p.m. near the 1800 block of S. 12th St.

According to MPD, a 13-year-old boy was walking to the store when he was taken by unknown suspects. Shortly after, the boy was released unharmed and brought back to his family.
The next day, police identified the car that was wanted in connection with the possible abduction. Police tried to make a stop but the driver sped away. A pursuit ensued but police lost sight of the car.

The vehicle was eventually found unoccupied near the 1200 block of West Norwich Avenue.
