MILWAUKEE — An 86-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver in Milwaukee Tuesday afternoon.
Milwaukee police say it happened around 4:50 p.m. in the 3300 block of South 27th Street.
The 86-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was crossing the street when he was hit by the vehicle.
A 24-year-old man, identified as the driver of the vehicle, was arrested, MPD says. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
