A 74-year-old woman has died as a result of a retaining wall collapse in Port Washington.
The retaining wall fell outside a senior independent living facility on Lincoln Ave. about 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
Port Washington police say the 74-year-old woman, Judith Cisewski, was found completely buried under rubble once they arrived on the scene. Officers removed the concrete blocks off of Cisweski and she was then transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Cisewski died from those injuries on Monday.
Police are still investigating this incident.
