CEDARBURG — A 62-year-old man was rescued Wednesday after he was pinned under a lawnmower in a creek.

The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office said the man was cutting grass near a creek in Covered Bridge Park when the lawnmower slid down the riverbank.

The mower then rolled over and pinned the man underneath it in the water.

The Cedarburg Fire Department, Grafton Fire Department, Thiensville Paramedics, and the Town of Cedarburg Public Works Department all responded to the scene.

A front-end loader was used to lift the mower off the man. He was then transported to an Aurora Medical Center in the Village of Grafton for non-life-threatening injuries.
