A 44-year-old man has died after being shot Friday night.
Milwaukee police reported to the scene of the shooting in the 9900 block of W. Fond du Lac Avenue about 6:30 p.m.
The man died at the scene.
The suspect fled after shooting the 44-year-old, but was later arrested by police. Police say the person in custody for the shooting knew the victim and there does not appear to be any further threat to the community.
