MILWAUKEE — A 28-year-old man has been arrested after a hit and run incident that left a 79-year-old man injured on Friday.
Police say the incident occurred around 1:11 p.m. Friday in the 10000 block of W. Bluemound Road. A 79-year-old man was biking in the area when the 28-year-old struck him with his car and fled the scene.
The 79-year-old sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Milwaukee Police Department found the 28-year-old later on Friday and arrested him. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days, the Milwaukee Police Department said in a press release Saturday.
