MILWAUKEE — Police say a 22-year-old man has died after being shot, and his death is being investigated as a homicide.
Officers were called to the 6700 block of West Appleton Ave. at about 10:00 a.m. Thursday. Police say the man died from a gunshot injury.
A 25-year-old woman, who was known to the victim, was on scene and taken into custody.
Police say criminal charges will be presented to the District Attorney's Office in the upcoming days.
