MILWAUKEE -- The 2018 TODAY'S TMJ4 MACC Star is now on sale and all proceeds will be donated to help fight childhood cancer.
This year's MACC star was designed by 6-year-old Gia Danninger of Oconomowoc. Last July, she was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. Thanks to a bone marrow match from a man in Germany, she had a bone marrow transplant, and today is doing really well!
You can help local children fight through cancer this holiday season by purchasing the 2018 TODAY'S TMJ4 MACC star for just $10. The stars are on sale at Balistreri Sendik's Markets and Buddy Squirrel Nut Shops.
The MACC Fund supports research impacts the treatment of children throughout the state, the nation and the world. This research has played an important role in helping the overall 5-year survival rate for childhood cancer to rise from 20% to 80% in the past 41 years.
By year's end, the MACC Fund will have contributed over $63 million in research support for pediatric cancer and blood disorders like aplastic anemia and sickle cell disease.
