Two people have been arrested and charged after an attempted robbery in Racine County.
The incident happened at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 7812 S. Loomis Rd. in the Town of Norway.
A witness told investigators that two females entered the store and attempted to steal money from the cash register while using a knife. Officials said the duo was unsuccessful in their robbery and did not get any money.
The suspects have been identified as Melina A. Duemling, 17, of Mukwonago and Summer E. Swain, 21, of Wind Lake.
They are currently being held at the Racine County Jail on numerous felony charges.
