PLEASANT PRAIRIE -- A 15-year-old boy sustained several gunshot wounds outside his home in Pleasant Prairie Monday night.
The teen told police that he was inside his home when he heard a noise coming from outside when he saw a party of people he knew. It was then that the party began firing at the teen.
He was taken to St. Catherine's Hospital and was then transferred by Flight for Life to Froedert Hospital in Wauwatosa. His condition is not known at this time.
Pleasant Prairie, along with Kenosha Police and the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office were able to contact a 19-year-old suspect and take him into custody without incident.
The investigation is still ongoing.
