TOWNSHIP OF RUBICON -- A 12-year-old boy was killed after his dirt bike collided with a pickup truck Friday evening.
It happened at approximately 4 p.m. on County Highway NN near Tyler Road in the Township of Rubicon, about one mile east of the Village of Neosho.
The Dodge County Sheriff's Office said the dirt bike was crossing the roadway when the collision occurred.
The boy, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup, a 34-year-old man from Neosho, was not injured.
