MILWAUKEE -- A 1-year-old child was grazed by a bullet in a shooting on Milwaukee's north side Wednesday that also hurt a 34-year-old woman, police say.
It happened around 2:45 p.m. near W. Chambers St. and N. 27th St. Police say the 34-year-old woman was shot and faces a life-threatening injury. The 1-year-old child was grazed in the shooting. It's unknown if the child was targeted in the shooting.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital by a witness, police say.
Officers continue to seek a suspect and a motive in the shooting.
