TOWN OF VERNON -- One person is dead and one is in serious condition after a crash in Waukesha County Saturday afternoon.
Deputies were called at approximately 1:07 p.m. to National Avenue and Prairieside Drive.
Investigation shows that a vehicle going west on National turned in front of a motorcycle going east on National.
The passenger in the motorcycle, a 56-year-old woman from Walworth County, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 55-year-old man from Walworth County, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, a 41-year-old woman from Mukwonago, was not injured.
