'I'm not going back to jail': Witness recounts scene of MPD officer shot

A Milwaukee police offier has been shot on the city's north side.

A witness at the scene says the suspect that shot a Milwaukee Police officer allegedly shouted, "I'm not going back to jail," before firing at the officer.
A Milwaukee Police officer has been shot near the intersection of 27th and Wright. Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales said the officer was killed.
One other person has been injured in the incident.
The suspect is in custody.
