Former Packer James Stark to host moving sale

James Starks, former Green Bay Packer, has hired BumblePuppy Sales, LLC to conduct a moving sale at his home in Howard on Aug. 25 and 26.

He will be selling all household contents, electronics and some signed merchandise. Almost everything in the house will be for sale. Sale hours are Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A detailed list of items for sale will be posted to the Bumblepuppy website this week. Certificates of authenticity will be available for many items.

Starks was cut from the Packers back in February after seven seasons with the Green and Gold, including on the 2010-2011 Super Bowl Championship team.

He went down in week 14 for the Packers last season, leading to the emergence of Ty Montgomery as a new running threat.

Starks is the second former Packers RB to hold a moving sale while leaving Wisconsin. Eddie Lacy held a similar event In May, and all items sold out in just one day.

He will not be present for the sale.
